Why Tanzania

Tanzania offers a strategic platform for advancing women’s and youth leadership by connecting social advocacy with economic empowerment, cross-border trade, and investment through the FATI Expo. Its position as a pan-African hub provides opportunities for continental integration, regional partnerships, leadership development, and stronger collaboration among governments, businesses, civil society, and development institutions. The initiative will leverage Tanzania’s leadership environment to promote women’s political participation, mentorship, and inclusive governance, while aligning with AU Agenda 2063 and the SDGs to advance gender equality, economic inclusion, youth empowerment, and sustainable development across Africa.
