Hosted by Amdora Youth Impact Initiative (AYII) In Partnership with CGK Africa, Assumpter Digital Schools, Nakua Na Taifa Langu (NTL)& Other Organizations

Africa’s young people are central to the continent’s next chapter of growth. Ignite Africa Youth
Summit 2026 is the flagship youth platform of FATI Expo 2026, created to connect young Africans
and emerging leaders to practical opportunities in entrepreneurship, employment, investment,
trade, innovation and leadership.
Hosted by Amdora Youth Impact Initiative (AYII) in partnership with CGK Africa, Ignite places
young people inside the wider FATI Expo ecosystem – connecting learning and inspiration with real
businesses, investors, policymakers, industries and markets.
The experience extends beyond the dedicated Summit day through selected FATI Expo youth
activities, including the Future Founders Programme, International Diplomatic Simulation, business
and investment engagements, the FATI Excellence Awards & Gala Dinner and Experience Zanzibar.

Ignite is built around a simple idea: young people need more than motivation. They need exposure,
practical knowledge, access and the right connections to turn ideas and ambition into enterprise,
employment and economic opportunity.
Participants will learn from real journeys, explore industries shaping Africa’s future, strengthen
leadership and business skills, meet people who can open new pathways, and discover
opportunities beyond their immediate environment.

A Pan-African youth development organisation committed to empowering young Africans through
leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, diplomacy and civic engagement. AYII connects emerging
leaders to institutions, policymakers, businesses and opportunities that support meaningful
participation in Africa’s development.

Because Ignite sits within FATI Expo, participants gain access to a wider economic
ecosystem, exhibitions, investors, businesses, government delegations, development
institutions, B2B/B2G engagements, investor roundtables and strategic networks. It is
an opportunity to see how industries work and where young people can participate.

As part of the wider FATI Expo closing programme, the Ignite Africa experience includes
recognition of selected youth award recipients and attendance at the FATI Excellence
Awards & Gala Dinner, alongside leaders, investors, businesses and partners from across
the Expo community

Participating delegates can extend the experience beyond the conference through
Zanzibar’s tourism, culture, heritage and hospitality, while strengthening relationships
and connections made during the Expo.

One of Ignite Africa’s strongest advantages is its integration into FATI Expo. Young people will
be exposed to sectors driving Africa’s economic transformation and to the career, enterprise,

Ignite Africa is designed for young entrepreneurs, founders, innovators, students, graduates, young
professionals and emerging leaders who want to build businesses, strengthen their careers, develop
their leadership and connect to wider opportunities.
It also creates a meeting point with investors, employers, mentors, government institutions,
universities, development organisations and business leaders interested in supporting and connecting
with Africa’s next generation.

The goal is for every participant to leave with more than inspiration: clearer direction, stronger
practical knowledge, useful relationships and greater awareness of where opportunities exist and how
to position themselves for them.

• Entrepreneurship, employability and leadership knowledge.
• Connections to investors, mentors, markets and industry networks.
• Greater business and investment readiness.
• Exposure to African industries, cross-border opportunities and new possibilities.
• A stronger continental network of young leaders and economic stakeholders.

Ignite Africa supports the aspirations of the African Union Agenda 2063 and AfCFTA, and
contributes to SDGs 4, 8, 9, 10 and 17 through youth development, decent work,
entrepreneurship, innovation, inclusion and partnerships.

Ignite Africa is about bringing young people closer to the opportunities shaping Africa’s
future. By combining learning, leadership, enterprise, investment exposure and meaningful
connections within FATI Expo, the platform creates room for young Africans not only to
imagine what is possible, but to participate in building it.
