Pre Expo: Deal Rooms Open
and Investment Engagements

Deal Rooms Go Live: Monday 5th October 2026

One month before the Expo, the three FATI Deal Rooms open online.

Qualified investors register, sign a non disclosure agreement and gain access to project teasers, information memoranda, financial summaries and sponsor presentations. Virtual introduction calls begin immediately so that investor interest is gauged, questions are answered and preliminary terms can be explored well before delegates arrive in Zanzibar. By the time the Expo opens, each deal room has a shortlist of engaged investors ready for in person sessions, site visits and commitment signing.

Pre Event Investment Engagements: 2nd to 3rd November 2026

Curated Investor Business Meetings are pre scheduled engagements that connect investors with businesses, project owners, government representatives and key stakeholders around specific investment opportunities. This exclusive pre event programme takes place across Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar for senior investors, sponsors and government delegations.

  • MON 2 NOV · BY INVITATION

    Investors Roundtable

A closed door roundtable of investors, DFIs, banks, fund managers and government investment agencies to review the Tanzanian investment climate, the three deal room portfolios, risk mitigation instruments and the role of the facilitation bank. Output: an investor priorities brief shared with host government stakeholders.

  • 2 TO 3 NOV

    Investor Founder Meetings

Pre matched meetings between investors and high potential founders and SMEs, prepared from the online profiles submitted during registration.

  • 2 TO 3 NOV

    Strategic Partnership Meetings

Structured meetings between sponsors, partners, chambers of commerce and institutions to agree collaboration frameworks, programme roles and MOU drafts for announcement during the Expo.

  • TUE 3 NOV · EVENING

    Government and Diplomatic Networking

An informal reception for ministers, ambassadors, high commissions, trade attachés and investment agencies, building relationships ahead of the Intergovernmental Panel.
